SO1 Frontansicht

The Sound Effect Simulator SO1 was developed to create a realistic sound field during combat training.
Audio files stored on an SD card can be played back with up to 126dB(A) (in the standard configuration). In comparison to other gas-powered or blank cartridge systems, no hazardous substances are required for operation and no recharging or refilling is necessary when operating on the mains supply.
Furthermore, the SO1 operates almost maintenance-free due to the lack of mechanically stressed parts. During the construction, great importance was attached to the simplest possible operation, so that the SO1 can be used after a short briefing. The entire system is protected in a stable frame. By means of stacking lugs on the frame, several SO1 can be stacked on top of each other for transport.
